MEET YOUR SUPPORT GROUP LEADER

Hi, I’m Deena—welcome!

I’ve lived with migraine since I was just three years old. By the time I was 20, my attacks had become chronic, deeply impacting every part of my life. I know firsthand the stigma, isolation, and emotional toll that migraine can bring—and I also know the life-changing power of connecting with people who truly get it.

In 2023, I became a certified Chronic Pain Support Group Leader through the U.S. Pain Foundation, and in 2025, I completed my certification as a Health and Wellness Coach. Through my own experiences, I found not only healing, but also a deep passion for helping others who are navigating life with chronic illness.

I believe healing isn’t just about treatment plans or medications—it’s also about being seen, heard, and understood. If you’ve ever felt alone in this journey, know this: you’re not. I’m so glad you’re here.

Let’s walk this path together.

After you sign up, you’ll first receive an automated confirmation email with basic information about the group. Then, within 24 hours, you’ll get a personalized welcome email from your support group leader — introducing themselves, answering any questions you might have, and giving you all the details you need to feel comfortable and ready to join. We’re excited to meet you and help you feel right at home!
  • What kind of topics are discussed?
We talk about everything from coping strategies and treatments to mental health, relationships, work challenges/accommodations, and more.
  • What can I expect from group?
You can expect a safe, non-judgmental space to share your experiences, ask questions, vent, celebrate small victories, and connect with others who truly get it.
  • Do I have to share or talk if I join?
Nope! Sharing is completely optional. Some members love to talk, while others prefer to listen and absorb. You're welcome exactly as you are.
  • Is there a cost to join?
Nope, living with chronic migraine is expense enough.
  • Is the group private?
Yes. What’s shared in the group stays in the group. We take privacy and confidentiality very seriously. By joining The Migraine Network Support Group, all participates must agree to our code of conduct to ensure our space remains safe, supportive, and respectful for everyone
